This weekend sees us return to the rather plush Peterborough School for their annual PTA ball.
I’m not even going to mention the A14 (although the new junction at Cathorpe works well going west)…
The venue was the school’s large sports hall, which is slightly odd as we had a video shoot the following day in another sports hall. Maybe a niche market we’ve hit upon?
We also unleashed two new songs this weekend; Real Love by Clean Bandit/Jess Glynne and Shut up and Dance by Walk the Moon, both of which sounded EPIC in the hall (it’s rare we get to run our PA rig a full power, so I was in my element running the desk).
A fantastic bunch of guys organised the event; Amanda, Keith and John from Beetroot Catering and Events and David Bennet from the school (David has a penchant for an anecdote and he didn’t disappoint once again!). Pleasure working with you guys as always 🙂
An awesome night was had by all, culminating in some impromptu Bhangra at the end.
Tomorrow we head to Coventry for our video shoot, glow sticks and UV accessories ahoy…!
