The end of a great year, by all accounts 🙂
And what better way to see out 2015 than to spend New Years Eve at one of our favourite country pubs for a spanking knees-up with some of our nearest and dearest. Hazel and co at The Cock Inn, Wishaw do a fantastic job of looking after us and our guests – five course meal no less! – and the atmosphere is always really welcoming. No ‘5-deep at the bar’ antics for us…!
It was lovely to have our friends Rob and Helen, Mark’s wife Becky and Tim’s wife Laura (who is with child!) in attendance and it was also lovely for me as the venue is literally one mile from my house. No A14 for me, no sir….
Some stats from the past 12 months:
We have performed over 80 gigs; 27 weddings, 10 Christmas parties, 8 birthday parties, 19 public gigs, 7 fundraisers, 4 dinner dances, 5 company events and 1 Halloween show performing to approximately 20,000 people in total, travelling around 9,000 miles.
The most requested first dance was ‘Thinking Out Loud’, the most traveled road was the A14 and our 90s medley was the biggest audience pleaser…
A big shout out to our manager, web guy and to all our agents (especially Hendersons) who do a sterling job in keeping us ‘on the road’.
2016 is looking even busier, so if you’re looking to book The Junos for your event you better get in there quick folks…!
Happy New Year everyone, have a great night and a prosperous 2016.
